Why the frame material matters
Golfted sells a stainless steel version, the GT-R, listed at 12.5 kg without battery. Switching to aluminium on the GT-AR brings the listed figure down to 10.5 kg. Two kilograms does not sound like much, but you feel it every time the trolley goes in and out of a boot, twice per round.
Wheels and battery
The listing gives 12 inch wheels, a common size that rolls well over wet British fairways. A lithium-ion battery is included. Unlike the GT-R listing, this one does not quote a number of holes per charge, so check the battery rating with the seller if you play 36 holes.
Accessories included
Twelve extras arrive with the trolley: an umbrella holder and scorecard holder in stainless steel, a bottle holder, a caddy notebook, a one size golf glove, a transport bag, a divot repair tool, a ball marker, a neoprene pouch for a phone, a phone holder, a cleaning towel and a drinks bottle with an LED temperature display.
