Electric trolleys
Electric trolleys carry your bag and drive themselves at walking pace. Compare them on battery size (18 or 36 holes), folded size, weight, braking on slopes and remote or follow features.

- 18 or 36 hole lithium

- Folded size against your boot

Most trolleys use a lithium battery sold as 18 hole or 36 hole. Hilly courses and wet ground use more, so a 36 hole battery gives a margin even for one round.
The folded size in cm decides whether it fits your boot with the clubs. Compact fold models fold flatter than classic designs, often with smaller wheels.
Useful extras include downhill speed control, an electronic brake, a USB port and a GPS screen. Remote control models steer from a handset.
