The TK710STi is for golfers who want a projector that serves the simulator by day and a film or football night by evening, without ever buying a replacement lamp. It takes the 4K short throw idea of BenQ's TK700 range and adds a laser light source. That one change is what sets it apart from the lamp models in this comparison.

Our take
Laser instead of lamp
BenQ lists a durable laser light source that removes the need for frequent lamp replacements. For a simulator that might run for several hours at a time, that means no warm up delay, no dimming lamp over months and no running cost for spares.
Brightness is given as 3,200 ANSI lumens, aimed at living rooms with the lights on.
Resolution and colour
Native resolution is 3840 x 2160 with HDR10 and HLG support, and BenQ quotes 95% Rec.709 colour coverage. If your simulator PC can run at 4K, course detail and textures will look sharper on a large impact screen than on a 1080p projector.
Bear in mind that 4K simulator software asks a lot of the graphics card, so many golfers will run the TK710STi at 1080p for speed and keep 4K for films.
Response time
The listing quotes 4 ms response at 1080p 240 Hz. That matches the fastest figure in this comparison and means ball flight should appear without noticeable delay after impact when running at 1080p.
Setup and smart features
3D keystone correction is mentioned in the title, useful when the projector cannot sit square to the screen. Android TV with Netflix, Chromecast and AirPlay are built in, which suits a room shared with the family.
The throw figures in the specs are hard to read, and the bullets do not give a clear distance for a given image size. Use BenQ's throw calculator or ask the seller before fixing a ceiling mount.
How it compares
The BenQ TK700STi offers similar 4K and lag figures with a clearly stated 100 inches from 2 m, but uses a lamp. The BenQ AH700ST is a dedicated golf model with 4,000 lumens and automatic screen calibration, in 1080p. The TK710STi is the choice when you want 4K and laser together.
Laser projectors usually cost more up front, so weigh that against the lamps you would otherwise buy over the years.
Verdict
Buy the TK710STi if you want native 4K, 4 ms response and a laser light source in a projector that also works for films and sport. If golf is the only use, the BenQ AH700ST is more focused, and if you want a clearly stated throw for planning, compare the BenQ TK700STi.
